Outback Blooms

I have no doubt in my mind that over half these pretty little things are vexing Australian weeds. But to find such a wealth of colour growing from the driest of Earth is fascinating to me, fueling my own personal still life experience. What you can learn when you observe such tiny little lives is that if they can pull through the arid ground and show their face at the sight of the sun every morning, day in and day out, until they've been picked, trampled on, or dried and died to make way for new growth, imagine the things that we can do in the face of hardship. Ain't nothin' tougher like the Aussie desert, and nothing quite as gorgeous either.
